Silens Fira is my main character, also being my first. He was originally intended as an E/Mo, which worked well for a while. I eventually found that the Mesmer skill Imagined Burden worked well with my Savannah Heat build. I was never a huge fan of the Searing Flames 'nuker' build, as the damage output was good, but the energy cost was also high, and I found myself having to rest to regen a lot after longer fights.
After originally being a Nightfall-only character, I brought Silens Fira over to Prophecies. The main reason for this was Meteor Shower. Once I got this skill into my build, I started to feel some sort of 'completion' on the build. I'm constantly experimenting with other skills and professions, but the build below is by far my most used with this character.
While being intended as a PvE-only character, I have taken this character into PvP a few times. The Searing Flames builds definitely work better in a high-pressure, low-time situation like that. With that being said, I still rarely take this character into PvP, and when I do, it's usually a 'friendly' competition within my alliance.
