Marko Kerabi was born in the city of Arah. He was brought upon his first pirate ship at barely 3 months of age. He became skilled in the ways of archery and became a ranger. Marko, with his parents, sailed south to Istan every year for the Annual Pirate Negotiations. At this event, bandits, renegades, Corsairs, Am Fah, Jade Brotherhood and Crimson Skull would meet at Mehtani Keys to discuss the pirate code for the following year. When he was 21, Marko and some pirates raided Lion's Arch. Marko was injured by an arrow to the skull and fell unconscious. When he awoke, he saw monks around him and he asked them how they healed him. They only replied "Mother Arvey is eternal in purity." He delved slightly deeper for answers and found out that they had channeled the power of their gods into him to heal him. Marko to Melanktion the next day.

Story

Marko stood in the cabin of the boat, leaning on a table staring intently at a map of Cantha. He said to the officer beside him "we will take our main force and attack here. No, here. But what if they... Gods dammit! They've got us surrounded!" Suddenly a soldier burst through the door, saluted and said "Commander Marko! Canthan ships have been spotted on the horizon to the west!" Marko stood up and went to the door. He came out on deck and shouted "Battle stations men! This is not a drill! Enemies to the west. Rangers, get to the side. Warriors, prepare yourselves if they board! Monks, get behind and provide protection!" He looked up at the crows nest and shouted to the man inside "How many ships are visible Lieutenant Xiang? Xiang replied " 30 or so Commander, but there may be more beyond the mist!". Marko ran to the back of the boat and looked out. Behind him were 15 or so boats, all ready for war and all being led by a commander like himself. He turned back and saw the first Canthan ship come close. He shouted "Rangers, ready... Fire at will!" The rangers released their arrows and they glided through the sky and pierced the enemies. Arrows flew back in response and killed some of the Melankash rangers before they hit the floor. The two warring boats collided into each other and made a grinding noise. Marko shouted and grinned, "Warriors, get the plank. We're boarding these bastards!"
