Dragon Festival?[edit]

"There's no reason there could be little mini-events in say Tyria or Elona for the Dragon Festival" Actually, there are "mini-events" in Lion's Arch and Kamadan. Though it is mostly just decorations and RPS and random lore NPCs. Just wanting to point that out. ;P However, I do think more can be said on the Canthan events, but if those two move to Tyria/Elona on a bigger scale, then I think Halloween/Wintersday should get at least the same attention in Cantha that CNY and the Dragon Festival currently get in LA/Kamadan (that is, decorations and small-time NPCs). In my opinion at least. -- Azazel the Assassin/talk 01:26, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Done with PvE class Changes?... [edit]

I sadly gotta agree - and in some cases I too go with the typical thoughts. Though you confuse me on "I don't think there needs to be a class-change." - is this in relation to making mesmers more AoE? If so, I agree. If not... explain :<. As for the line "PvE is often about AoE powers" I say it should be remade to "Fire Ele's and Dervishes is often about AoE" :P -- Azazel the Assassin/talk 01:26, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

I don't think Mesmers need to be AoE... armor-ignoring... damage over time... there's a lot that can be done if you're willing to take the time to learn how. AoE is nice, but it's not everything. There are different ways to play, you've just got to play them to learn which way works and thats what people struggle with because they don't try different ways. We are humans, after all, sometimes we can get lost in pattern.
I thank you for your input, Azazel. ~~000.00.00.00~~ 11:07, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
Oh I agree that Mesmers don't need to be AoE. In my opinion, only fire elementalists and Dervishes - with a few skill exceptions like VoR, SS, and Life Transfer for example - need to be AoE. Although AoE is prefered more than single target - AoE does have drawbacks *scatter* and - not sure if this is the case or not, if not it should be made the case - AoE damage should, in my opinion, do less damage than single target, since you're capable of harming multiple enemies, usually over a period of time, but it seems to me that most AoE skills (especially one time AoE such as Fireball) do more damage. This is what I think needs to be changed - an evening out of the type of skills, because at the moment armor-ignoring does more than non-armor-ignoring and AoE skills do just as much, if not more, than non-AoE skills. -- Azazel the Assassin/talk 14:39, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
