First of all, Anet cannot unban you from Guru forums as they don't run them. Second of all, this person probably doesn't manage the fansite list.

Once and for all, let me say the IP posting has been told repeatedly why he was banned from Guru forums and has refused to accept the answer and has proceeded to violate our forum rules repeatedly by creating multiple accounts. We totally understand that more than one user may be using the same IP address, but since he has continued with his violations, we have no choice but ban the IP entirely. wyn i tryed talking to inde he wont respond so its his own failure. I'm not going to continue this conversation here after this. The cause for the ban has been explained to you, and you simply started creating new accounts with threats that you were going to drive us nuts until it changed. As for our banning practice, there is no other way to ban since as you have proven, without an IP ban, we can't stop a user from simply creating a new account and continue with their bad behavior. The only one to blame for people who share your IP being banned is you, due to your refusal to follow our forum rules, so just let this drop. Regina is not going to revoke our Elite Fansite status due to the QQ of a user who has repeatedly broken our rules to the point we feel we have to permaban their IP. Welcome to real life. You know ArenaNet can ban your account with no reason given (not that they WOULD but they can...) because it is their game and they own it? What would you do then? Buy it over and over and over until they give you a reason? :P Guru admins can tell you why a post was removed, but they don't do so automatically simply because that's a lot of PMs to send to people for posts that were probably deleted for being off-topic. ok yes but the simple fact is that if you ask anet why they banned your account they will give you some sort of reason. in this case after asking i got no reason and i told them i am going to keep posting my post until you give me a reason as to why you are deleting it they never did, and then a "perma" ban. Sadly for them they banned my friend dr.jones who has nothing to do with me (other then living around me) and did nothing wrong and ip banned anyone who may or may not be me, and share the a similar ip. and they say its all my fault im not the one banning people because they disagree or because they are to head strong to give a reason. see anet dost ip ban because they know that OTHER people use the same internet, and that they could ban someone who has nothing to do with the person they intended to ban. guru dost understand these basic internet concepts, and thus fails. wyn is complaining because this is bad press for guru.75.165.115.205 13:13, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

On the contrary Anet does do IP Bans aswell. Everyone does. Hell I even ban entire IP Ranges, mailprovider and even whole countries from using my websites. Its my right as an owner of said pages. So is it Guru's right to ban you from using their Pages. As to the bad press: Lol I can assure you nobody at Guru gives a damn simply because they know this isnt any bad press. Actually anet sometimes bans people without them breaking the rules.I was banned because they thought I bought and sold accs.Now after a while you realise that if they want to take the rotten apples out of the pile they have to take the ones that look infected out aswell.Then again this is besides the point.If you do something be willing to bear the consequenses Lilondra *panda* 19:03, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

You still haven't told me what post of yours was deleted, and I can't find anything anywhere... what forum was it in? I seriously would like to give you an answer if for no other reason to shut you up, but since you can't give me even the most basic of answers I'm not going to bother trying any longer. as for "wyn is complaining because this is bad press for guru" it has nothing to do with it I don't like it coming to the wiki because it has nothing to do with the wiki. -- Wyn 13:52, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

A note (since I don't want to add to Regina's talk page wrongly anymore.): ArenaNet isn't forced to tell you a reason. They can if they want to be nice, but if they wanted they could ban you whenever they want, and never give you a reason. You also can't do jack shit legally about it because you agreed to their License Agreements which basically says "we own your account, this is just a license, and we can prevent access from it for whatever we want." Guru is much the same way, when you join you have to agree to a TOS, which means you'll follow their rules, and it too says that they can close your account for any reason, and there is nothing to force them to tell you the reason. Thankfully, Guru (like ArenaNet) is nice enough to tell you the reason, considering Inde already did:

"He was banned for posting the same message 5 times to Lyra Song and threatened to continue that "no matter what" as well. He can't follow the most basic of forum rules and threatens to do as he pleases. So he's gone." That is the reason Inde banned you, there's your reason. Dr. Jones getting banned is your own fault, instead of treating people like human beings, you pretty much threatened the admins that you'll just continue spamming messages to a user and from the sounds of things were being very unruley. The admins at Guru are (generally, everyone has bad days) very nice and Inde especially loves to work with people on their problems and I've worked with her once or twice on stuff dealing with users, and she's really awesome. Maybe if you approach her like a human being and act respectable, you can at least get Dr. Jones unbanned if you promise to serve your account ban. i have stooped caring. because i have other friends (out side of the people i live with) who have had the same sort of bull shit happen to them on guru. i am not going to work to get dr.jones unbanned if he wants to pressure that then he can. my reasoning for doing what i did was because what they did to me was unjust, dose it make what i did right no dose it make what they did right no. wyn i don't know what the post is because i don't remember or have the records. you have access to that stuff so just earthier have indie show you or just look at zesbeer's account. also dark they never gave me a reason as to why the deleted that post in the first place. and that underlining reason is what i was looking for to begin with. because there is no from rule that says you can re post something. also serving my account ban well that would mean forever. and dr.jones should have never been banned to start with. i am not denining the right to ban someone with the same ip there are some times were it is necessary but what i am dening is the fact that they never gave me a second chance, and everyone has the right to that... past the stuff i just said i dont CARE ANYMORE. i have moved on i may or may not still have a account on guru most likely i don't because like i said before they suck at motrating there are lots of threads that get extremely derailed and are not closed, and sometimes the mods do the derailing them selfs, and there are threads that have blatant trolls in them. another funny thing they do is in one of the forms they yell at you for reopening a tread. and then they yell at you if you make a tread that was already a topic, and tell you to post in that old tread.75.165.115.205 22:54, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
