I want to play Hero's Ascent[edit]

moved from User_talk:John Stumme

The very first thing they ask me for is my rank. My rank isn't high enough because I still haven't played Hero's Ascent enough. I can't play it.

Welcome to PvP. Oh wait....--BriarUser Briar Sig 3.jpgThe Spider 14:21, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
You shouldn't be complaining to a staff member about this. My suggestion would be to join a guild that specializes in it. There are even some guilds that will train people for HA, or at least give you an idea of how to use the team builds. -- Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig2.png 14:35, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
You're welcome. — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 15:57, 13 Feb 2011 (UTC)
tl;dr: if you do not want high-end PvP to eat up all of your free time, stay away from it. Of couse, that may be a biased opinion on it, but the hero title serves no purpose. It rewards farming and penalizes people who just want to get the "feel" of high-end PvP. Koda User Koda Kumi Horns1.GIF 17:04, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
Do what Raine said + get into a PvP guild (doesn't matter how good, someone will want to HA). If you're not taking those steps, then you don't actually want to HA.
It's kind of like getting into speed clears. If you really wanted to do them, you would find other people who do them, build up experience, and get into a guild that does speed clears. Essentially, it's the same process. Karate User Karate Jesus KJ for sig.png Jesus 22:28, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
Problem is, I'm in the guild of my friends, and they are either too few or not interested enough in HA. And in no way I'll leave my friends guild and all the fun I have with it for the sake of having fun on HA. :/
PvP is a fulltime commitment. If you're not interested in dedicating all or most of your time to HA/GvG, then those areas aren't for you.--TahiriVeila 00:42, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
