Image Naming[edit]

Hello DarkMishkin, one or more of the images you have recently uploaded have not been named properly as per our image policy. This states that images that are uploaded for use in the user namespace need to be named in the following format: user <user name> <short description>.<file extention> . For example, user DarkMishkin Avatar.jpg . Also, please remember to enter {{user image}} in the Summary field. Thanks. Just reupload it with User at the beginning of the name and you'll be fine :) --Kakarot Talk 15:14, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, reuploaded following the rules hopefully. Is there a way to delete the original uploads myself, or should I wait for an admin? Thanks :) DarkMishkin 16:16, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
Those are perfect now :). As for the old ones, I think Kakarot tagged them all for deletion so an admin will delete them shortly. You don't have to do anything else -- Brains12Talk 16:19, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
The images that you've just uploaded arn't tagged with {{Screenshot}}RT | Talk - A joyous wintersday to all 17:08, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
They don't have to be do they, since they are for use in the user namespace they only need the {{user image}} tag. The screenshot tag is only for main space images, isn't it? @DarkMishkin - No problem, happy to help :) --Kakarot Talk 20:38, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
I asked about that at Guild Wars Wiki talk:User pages, and apparently we should be using both {{user image}} and {{screenshot}}, but I don't think it's compulsory. -- Brains12Talk 22:36, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
