That's why I'm tagging them into this, to fix em. Png is like my favorite format for images. I don't know really why so many images are in jpg... it distorts color, etc. worse than png does. Kaisha 17:55, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

its the original, its what people are used to, and at the time it was a good tradeoff, lose a bit of quality for saving a bunch of space, but now the standards for hd have beenr edefined and a tb of storage really isnt a big deal 24.130.140.36 18:01, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

no ive tried that, once you save the jpg you lose the quality forever, youd have to do some photoshop or something to get it back, and even worse is if you open a jpg and save it immediately the quality degrades again 24.130.140.36 18:31, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

it might, i've not tried that, mostly because I usually just deal with screenshots, paste them into mspaint and save as png and done 24.130.140.36 18:50, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
