Finished the pencil sketch last night.
She was pretty easy to sketch out; her armor has a lot of simple, geometric lines, and everything's next to something else, which makes it easy to reference distances, etc. I didn't make many changes (it's a really nice screenshot), but there are a few:

  • Her back hand is now visible.
  • Her sword is drawn differently; I'm not sure how this is going to work out with color.
  • The ties on the rear of her blindfold are longer.

I'll do some pen work tonight, and I suppose I'll start working on color tomorrow. User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 16:23, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

You can change the sword to something easier to draw. The sword in this picture isn't that great anyway. --TalkAntioch 17:20, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
Did you still want a fiery sword? I like the way it looks with the background, personally. I just changed the shape of it. User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 17:34, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
Sure, though you might want to change the angle of the sword. In the screenshot, it's rather flat. --TalkAntioch 17:41, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
I have it flat now, but it's still in pencil, so I can change whatever you want. Just name it. ^ - ^ User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 18:22, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
I'll take a look at the gallery of swords later. I'll be back with you on that. --TalkAntioch 06:44, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
I like both the Emerald Blade, Jade Sword, and the Cerulean Edge/Emerald Edge/Violet Edge. Take your pick! Or did you mean angle?--TalkAntioch 06:51, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
I could've changed it to an emerald blade if you'd said it yesterday; it's already inked in. =x User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 16:29, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
lol. That's fine. I look forward to your work! Thanks. --TalkAntioch 22:56, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
Could still use some love in the coloring department. I just put a light coat of pastel on it, but I've got a set of pencils now, and I need a test subject...
Also, the shading isn't done the same as my derv because I had to use ink to get the right black out of the lines, and it'd've (lol) looked funny with more ink as shading. There's a bit of black pastel there, but it's too light to really be noticeable.
Oh. And a background would be cool. :P
I'll finish it up when I get a chance. User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 06:13, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
Looks great thus far. Nice work. Oh, keep both revisions of the images, for a "concept", "rough draw", "final product" type progression - please? --TalkAntioch 19:58, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
Sure. User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 20:57, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
I've had this done for a while now. =x
I just haven't had a convenient time to upload it. User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 19:25, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
Woo hoo! I'll get you more screenshots when I can then! --TalkAntioch 19:43, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
Don't get too PrtScrn happy; I'm a little backlogged (see rest of page). =P User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 19:56, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
Don't worry about that. I have a rather high goal with several components, so it'll be a little while from me. --TalkAntioch 21:25, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
Finally got around to uploads. There are a couple of things that I wish I could've done better, but hey. I'm new at this whole business. When I'm pr0, I'll revisit it. ;) User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 04:49, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Blam! Thanks very much! Excellent work! --TalkAntioch 22:06, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Astos the Wanderer[edit]

User Vili Astos The Wanderer.jpg

I haven't started this one yet, but I'm going to make a few changes to the armor. It's kinda... plain... at the moment. Also, not sure exactly what the effect would translate to on paper; it's probably going to get bigger and brighter, and since white is hard to draw, it may undergo some changes in color (most likely to a light blue). If there are any changes that you'd like me to make, feel free to add those here, too. User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 16:23, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Oh, you can feel free to adjust the armor as you like...I have that armor set for my monk because eh's a pretty plain and simple guy in roleplaying land. I know it's not the most photogenic. :D Bigger and brighter is always good. I dunno if you played that long ago, but way in the past Smite used to be an attack skill. So you'd get this bright glowing ball of light flying out of your staff/bow and it was totally awesome. I can never recapture that moment, though. :( Maybe you could? Rayne Brunel[edit]

User Vili Rayne Brunel.jpg
User Raine Valen Rayne Brunel sketch.jpg

If I draw this one, I'm going to change all of her armor to one set. Not a set that currently exists in Guild Wars, but kind of a mixture of all of the visible pieces, y'know? But, in order to best do that, you're going to have to tell me what you like about each set (and I'm sure there's something, otherwise she wouldn't be wearing three different sets of armor ._.) so that I don't put the wrong components together. User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 16:23, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Weeeellllll........
This ele has Spectacles because in roleplaying land she's a clumsy, hapless, geekish sort of person...and they just seemed to complete that picture. And I don't really like having a storm beacon on my forehead. :\
I like the Elite Canthan robes because they look the most "functional" of armors without being tasteless like Obsidian. The dye effects are pretty radical on it, it's one of those armors that has a "metallic" sheen. I really like the "collar flares", too (dunno what one calls that); to me it inspires an air of mastery, nobility, elegance. Like Seto Kaiba. Finally, it's not slutty like so many other ele armors, even though it's pretty, ah, busty. Compared to the Stormforged and Pyromancer "robes", anyway.
I always have Stormforged Gloves on my eles because I think they just look the most awesome of any in the game. They are actual gloves (as opposed to, say, the "Frozen" set), the lightning design makes them look badass (about as close to Witch-Iron Gauntlets that you'd get in GW), they dye well...oh, and they seem functional, too. I like them better than the Elite Canthan gloves because those have that stupid gauze fringe and they have no design or anything on them. Flameforged are just not remarkable in any way, either.
The Pyromancer leggings are probably my least favorite part of the set. They do not dye the same as any of the other parts and no matter what I do, I can't help but think they always look sort of...plastic-y. The flame design is kind of stupid, too. However, the thing is that there are really very few choices for me...the only true "pants" that eles get is Obsidian, and that is really ugly and expensive. I used to use the Stormforged skirt, but that always looked slutty/skanky to me and it was irritating because my eles don't have that personality exactly...there's also two annoying things with it, firstly that it tends to "disappear" in grass and water, and secondly, that whatever color you dye them, your character's panties also change color accordingly. >_> I used to wear the full Flameforged set a long time ago but I liked the Stormforged too...so eventually I settled on this compromise. The Flameforged is a skirt more or less, which I dislike, but it's more modest and also looks nice when you /sit. I would have picked the Elite Canthan skirt because it is exactly the same except without the stupid flame...except that has the stupid gauze fringe thing too, which looks really silly to me. :\
Finally, I like Stormforged Boots the best because they actually look like boots, I guess, and of course they have the nice lightning design which dyes well. The other sets either look more like shoes, or they look stupid in some way (i.e. Frozen set)...Again, I would have gotten the Elite Canthan, but those lack both the lightning design and the srs bsns look. The Elite Canthan look more delicate, like they are made of silk or something...the heel isn't quite right, either. I dunno, they look too Asian. Can't really explain. They also lack that silver part of the Stormforged which I think looks pretty cool...
If you ever wonder why I take such pains in crafting my armor sets, I guess now you know :D Vili 点 User talk:Vili 06:54, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
OH MY GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWDDDDDDDDD.
k. I'm gonna redesign her armor from the ground up. Or knees up, as the case may be. Or even from the skin out. Whatever the case, a redesign is in order. I'll talk to you in-game about some details, then I'll start this one after I finish Antioch's monk. User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 07:03, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
k, so, I did a sketch of the armor set; let me know what I should change before I apply ink. User Raine R.gif is for Raine, etc. 06:36, 4 November 2009 (UTC)

Nichole Swiftpaw[edit]

User Ryuu Desu Nicole Swiftpaw.jpg

This is my survivor dervish I made recently (9 days ago), so far r2 and no deaths~!
Anyway, due to probably moving soon and losing contact with a lot of important people, I decided to pick the most important of them all and name a dervish after them. (Nerdy, Iknowrite?) Anyway, while spamming screenies with /dancenew, I ended up with this pose that I liked quite a bit. The gear is vabbian, so you can use that to add the shoes accordingly. (Mmm, unfortunately I tried to recapture this in a place where it didn't cut feet off, and it simply didn't work.
Anyway, I wouldn't mind some of the glittering effect from the dance emote to be drawn if possible (that sounds like a bitch to me, so up to you really). Also, if you could draw the design on the bottom nondistorted, that would be be appreciated as well Also, if you could change the design on the bottom skirt to having it consist of paw prints (Nichole Swiftpaw), that would add to it quite a bit.. Ah, another thing with those pose. I wouldn't mind the front hand being changed to be palm skyward, so it seems more like an invitation to dance or something -shrugs- That's the way I see the pose, anyway. If you have the time to add a background, a full moon reflecting on the (nonfrozen >_>) water would be win.
One last thing (and if you can't/refuse/won't do this, I completely understand. xD) Neko ears. That would make me squeal in glee.
Thanks for taking the time to consider this -nodnod-, it really is much appreciated. ~ RyuuUser Ryuu Desu Sig.png[ Talk|Contributions ] 23:56, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Neko ears being...? I don't have a problem doing it, but I don't know what you're asking. =x User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 02:09, 20 June 2009 (UTC)
Cat ears, same thing. as much as the url kills me, and these ones are hideous IMO, here's an example ~ RyuuUser Ryuu Desu Sig.png[ Talk|Contributions ] 02:13, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

Just a picture of one, I guess. Maybe in the middle of interrupting a group of angry casters or just asleep or "squiggling," that funny way they have of running. I have a friend who likes them a lot. –Jette User Jette awesome.png 15:25, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

Assassin X Kill[edit]

Ranger Noob[edit]

I'll try to keep this one simple really.

There are two different perspectives I can suggest.

  1. Showing him in the air with 3 arrows in his bow and it shows a monster on the bottom right with his head pulverized by an arrow and it shows a couple more enemies behind him chasing him.
  2. Running through a horde of enemies (surrounded in the air) with a couple with an arrow in their head (following from behind)
  • The enemies are completely up to you, but I was thinking a factions theme.

I hope I covered enough lolz. -- User Halogod35 Sig.png Halogod35 14:20, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
