The Scribe is a weekly periodical that will share a few stories from within the game. Written by a traveling monastery scribe, the articles will range from news about the Alliance Battles to stories about guilds and events. You'll probably see a few kudos to individual players, as well.

The Scribe was a periodical that was published weekly on the official Guild Wars website and written by Andrew Patrick from the perspective of a traveling monastery scribe. Articles included news about the Alliance Battles, stories about guilds' upcoming events, content updates, and occasionally a few honorable mentions of individual characters that were noted as being particularly helpful to others.

Occasionally, Andrew Patrick visited the game as the Monastery Scribe, always accompanying Gaile Gray. His chat appeared in purple.
