PVP-Texture Difference[edit]

File:User ChristopherRodrigues Monk Female Woven Armor-Dyed Blue.jpg

Left: PVE-crafted Monk Woven Armor, dyed Blue. Right: PVP-created Monk "Consecrated" Armor, dyed Blue.

Explain to me why they look different.--ChristopherRodrigues 17:36, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Is the crafted armor older, as in crafted before NF release, or before the insignia update to Prophecies armor? That could make them have different properties. I know Bexor had some instance with an older armor or crafted armor dyeing differently. - anja talk 18:14, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
It doesn't matter when it's crafted, it matters when it's dyed. I had a black-dyed armor from pre-NF that changed color entirely when I re-dyed it black (for HoM). — Galil Talk page 18:24, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
That is also true, redying makes a difference. But there has been so many occasions where it have made a difference when it was crafted so I say it does matter :P I know they did a big thing about it with white mesmer FoW armor over at GWO at NF release. People that crafted it just days apart from each other got two different shades of white. - anja talk 18:30, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Sorry boys, but I tried dying both sets blue again today, with the same vial, and I get the same message "The New dye color is identical to the current color." But in any case, I can't seem to replicate the color on the right, besides of course through the PVP Equipment Creation menu. --ChristopherRodrigues 22:09, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Yea, I guessed you had tried that. As I said, when did you craft the left one? Is it newly crafted or old? - anja talk 11:01, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
The character itself is maybe 3 months old. I can say I created her after the release of EotN, for sure, though I don't remember exactly when I created her armor. But I've even gone to LA to craft a new cheap set, and it still dyes the same way. --ChristopherRodrigues 15:25, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Ok, thanks for clarifying. It seems then that PvP armor and PvE armor have different properties when it comes to dye. :/ Should we report this as a bug? - anja talk 15:34, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
I sure propose a Bug report. See, thing is, before I create a new char, I make that same char in PVP, and craft his armor. I figured I could experiment with styles and dyes for free in PVP, so why not? And it's not just this armor. In general, most if not all PVP armors have a different tint when it comes to dying, which sux because they look better. Someone suggested just dying it Blue+White, but I don't have any white dye, and don't have the 4.5k to spare...--ChristopherRodrigues 22:43, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
I'll forward this to Mike Zadorojny on his art issue report page. - anja talk 23:19, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Bug[edit]

With the female armor. When I step into the water the leggings disappear. →[ »Halogod User Halogod35 Sig.png (talk ]← 18:38, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

Happens with every armour iirc. --User Brains12 circle sig.png Brains12 \ talk 18:40, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

Clipping[edit]

On the female skirt, a little bit of her underwear peeks through the cloth. ]: 23:50, 3 October 2010

I don't think that's underwear... in that they don't appear to be wearing any. >.< -— Apheori (talk) 03:12, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
They do. White panties. You can see them when they dance. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 03:25, 29 November 2011 (UTC)
