Is this a copyright violation if the image is freeware and commercial use is allowed? On another note, the cat itself is an old japanese religious icon and I doubt it could be copyrighted now in either case. -Auron 14:10, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

It's not really a religious icon; it's simply one that is supposed to bring good luck. However, I'd agree that it's probably not a copyright violation, unless someone has proof that it was taken from a website/location which does claim a copyright. --★KOKUOU★ 20:31, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
