Issue

Needs a slight balance to be useful, especially with ZB and WoH out there.

Suggestion

Make it affect all party members within earshot, reduce damage prevented to 15...83...100, increase recharge to 15, decrease duration to 5...11...12, increase energy cost to 10. It would be like a LoD version prot, but only useful for partywide damage and useless against degen.

We debated lower duration and lower cast on the talk page, but pretty much almost everyone thinks it will make it too brainless to use, as it would just be a fire and forget skill. Antiarchangel 12:31, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
Do you even know what lower duration means? It's current form IS fire and forget because of it's long duration. A shorter duration makes it less fire and forget because you have to actually land it so the damage comes in your shorter timeframe. Pluto 19:29, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Why dont we just rename this skill song of restoration or make song of restoration good again

Issue

Underused elite.

Suggestion

5e, 3/4s cast, 8 recharge. Elite enchantment spell. For 8 seconds, the next time target ally would take damage, that damage is negated and all party members gain that amount of damage as health instead (maximum 15...99...120)

Notes

Like a combination of RoF and LoD: it negates damage like RoF does but it doesn't surpass LoD because the amount of healing is conditional (you can heal 100, but also 15). 3/4 cast to make it balanced (not slow but it can still be interrupted, this must be used like an active prot, so 1s cast will make it underpowered. And a party heal cant be 1/4 for obvious reasons)

One of the worst monk elites ever.

Suggestion

Reduce casting time to 1/4. Increase damage prevented to 20...148...180, decrease duration to 5. It would make it useful against spikes...
