I love this idea, but just a suggestion, maybe every guild could have 3-6 ranks (The guild leader chooses the number), and the Guild Leader could name, and choose the rights of each rank. Invisible Infinate Spear Bag 20:24, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the positive feedback. It is said in the proposal that ranks are optional. When I wrote this I thought that ranks would be nice to have. You seem to agree and also extending the idea by given even more flexibility to Guild leader to define its Guild structure. The only reason I put that ranks are 'optional' is that it is sort of an additional level of complexity for ArenaNet to program, so it would not turn them off from the entire idea of Guild organisation by units. But, yes, what you are proposing would be an ideal implementation of ranks within the Guild. Cheers. --HH LEADER talk 16:01, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
