Last transmission[edit]

I am happy to report that my addiction to this Wiki and the game it was meant to supplement is over. I disbanded my guild and am quitting this Wiki permanently. No messages will be ever returned.

There are few honest and interesting people here who are capable of providing constructive input while using single account.

Unfortunately, there are many who have multiple accounts, socks and shared sock accounts, which they use to play RPG going by different personalities. IRC and other communication means are used by many to coordinate the use of shared accounts or giving lessons on socking. A person who gives socking lessons was a second runner up for Bureaucrat this time Guild_Wars_Wiki:Elections/2009-04_bureaucrat_election.

I could give you a lesson in sock puppetry so you don't get caught next time if you wish? Although I called you out first, you'll notice someone else got the final evidence. Misery 18:18, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

Socking isn't against the rules on this wiki, it's a way for people to post anonymously. Misery

Both second runner up and the winner have accepted an nomination from a known sock account called 'Sock'.

Well, this sock has been permabanned, and I would have to agree with poke that a public sock is just a bad idea. -- Wyn 17:34, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

I was also nominated by User:Sock and came in second. I don't see that as being an issue. --Wyn's Talk page Wyn 18:12, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

People should just make their own if they really want to be anonymous. I am astounded this sock lasted this long without getting its password changed. Misery 17:46, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

In most cases one deals with a 'collective' intellect and the decisions that are result of a peer pressure and mob psychology among those who are connected through IRC.

Some of the Sysops are doing fairly good job being addicts to what they are doing and unable to escape their addiction of a lifetime and some fall victims of their IRC friends.

By giving this Wiki to the community ArenaNet got exactly what it bargained for: a hijacked Wiki.

Good luck to ArenaNet with their feedback solution on this Wiki: they will get precisely what they are paying for: a mob managed feedback on a verge of insanity. It's a jungle were a lonely traveller should never wonder.

End of transmission. Leader's out.

The ending of a "Story of a Final Ode Of Laugh"[edit]

"... here lies a traveller who came to these forsaken Wastelands Inhabited by Kookaburras [1], which Irritated his ears by laughing at him until he was no more." [2], [3]

From a "Guide to effective censoring"[edit]
