Disagree. - At this early point, with very little content here in the Wiki, I'm inclined to think that either all regions should be kept as Categories, or none should be allowed to continue. Count me in for "all."
As for this one, it has content - I have added several articles today - and for those few areas that really have nothing of note searching a category for entries will be a useful tool whether there are lots of entries or very few - "Oh look, nobody has anything to say about this place, I don't have to worry about it any more."
