Travel NPCs[edit]
Most of the NPCs we are listing under this category do not do anything more than allow you to cross a portal; they are gatekeepers. At best, they allow you access to single destination. (In particular, many in Factions are likely to perform this function once, after which you can map travel to the particular outpost.) In contrast, a full fledged travel NPC (such as those in Embark Beach) grant you access to many destinations.
Perhaps we don't need two categories, in which case I think we should choose a different name. — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 22:16, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
