I know that it is a bit late for suggestions that may make changes to the game mechanics or the models themselves, but this suggestion is simply a quality-of-life, novelty feature that could be added in no hurry, at your leisure.

All of the designers and artists have done a fantastic job on the character models and their animations. Movements, emotes, everything is very fluid, however it seems that characters and NPCs of each race are all restricted to one posture (per gender?). To use the Charr as an example, both male and female versions of players and NPCs alike all seem restricted to the hunched-over, about-to-attack posture with their tails lashing, and while this looks great, I feel it could be so much more!

My suggestion: an in-game capability (as simple as a few arrows) that can be interacted with to adjust your character's "idle" posture to maybe three or four variations that could be used to reflect a different mood, deeper player customization, or just to show off the wonderful work the team has done on the characters. Have say an up and down arrow somewhere subtle in the UI that would let a Charr, for example, cycle between crouching on their haunches, to standing hunched, to standing erect and attentive, to standing erect and casual/bored. Let these "posture controls" set how your character will stand when idle, then have them return to this stance after running/jumping/etc., and have it displayed to the other players as well.

Additionally, having multiple stances in the game would allow for NPCs to stand about differently as well, adding more depth and immersiveness to an already enveloping environment without (hopefully) having to create brand new models just for specific NPCs. As far as I know, this would be an industry first for MMOs, and Guild Wars is in a perfect position to continue innovating!
