A nice feature to have, considering the upcoming Guild Wars 2, would be some kind of a notification for all your GW1 friends, saying "hey, I don't play GW1, but my GW2 character name is Xxx Yyy". It would be very useful for finding your GW1 friends in the GW2 world. Obviously, leaving such message would be personal and voluntary. The best place to put such mechanics is the "Friends" window.
