Increase the "Defense" of both of these skills by adding damage reduction similar to Smoke Powder's current function.
They both function similarly, inflicting a condition and moving the assassin out of harm's way.

5 Energy¼ Activation time15 Recharge time

Enchantment Spell. (10 seconds) The next time you are struck, you take half damage. Initial Effect: Adjacent foes suffer from Blind (2...5...6 seconds) and you Shadow Step to a nearby location directly away from your target.
  • Has recharge equal to Return, a popular and powerful Shadow Arts skill.
  • Would stop this from disrupting stances such as Dark Escape.

Enchantment Spell. (10 seconds) The next time you are struck, you take half damage. Initial Effect: Inflict Poisoned condition (5...17...20 seconds) on all adjacent foes and Shadow Step to a nearby location directly away from your target.
  • Actually adds defense to this skill, by blocking out some damage.
  • Poison is less useful than Blind in this situation, so the recharge is much less.
