In an mmorpg I love to have as many social functions as possible, so I want to start there.
I allready saw the Home District system, I'm not quite sure if you can have your own house, where you're able to invite friends and design it maybe with a Treasure Chest ( working like banking or sth. like this ). I'd really love to have the possibility to see my Character having his own house that i can develope and invite friends. Now comes the Part that would be awesome: the further your character is developed the bigger your home gets maybe you can also discover a dungeon leading to your house later. A dungeon that is randomly generated every-time you get in that you can do with your friends or your guild. That would make countless more dungeons available for every player and it will allways be possible to go into a dungeon without having to walk that much. The higher the level of the character, the higher the grade of difficulty in the dungeon but the better the loot. Also if you do the dungeon with less players the grade of the items increases.
If we take this housing system to the guilds I have 2 Ideas.
Idea 1 : It would be awesome to have guild housings, where you have your guild bank, where you can meet your guild mates and just enjoy a discussion or talk about the next Actions performed by the guild. Now we take this Dungeon system ( mentioned above ) into the Guild level, that would make another dozens of dungeons and it would also improve the social aspect of the game. I think it's not the idea of an MMorpg to play Alone to level XX just raid for end-game content and then PVP until your fingers almost crush your mouse and keyboard.
Idea 2 : There is a PVP System in an other game where the aim is to take castles. There are several castles open in different towns (4 per Town), like Monday ( Town 1, 4 Castles ) now 3-4 guilds fight for the castle because its special. When the Castle is in your possession you can enter it and theres a treasure chest with loot as a reward for your hard work capturing it. Also the guild has an unique dungeon that changes everytime the contest is. The contest is once per week a town, that means every castle can just be captured once a week. That would make an awesome competition because the reward is right there after the contest. The contest should go for 1 hour or it would be too long. The problem of normal PVP is that you just fight and fight and fight. You have to win like 80 Matches to get a reward, that's what makes it so boring, the motivation starts to lack after like 10 matches. Of course you need to modify it or it would give problems with the copyright tho.
This were the social aspects I would freak out if it was in the game.
Also I hope to see a really complex job and crafting system. It would be nice if we could craft high level items.
Regarding the PVP System you should try to delete the Loading Screen before revive, because it takes the speed out of the PVP.
