Sometimes it's hard to get a guild together or find people that are truly what they advertise themselves to be. Sitting around spamming "Looking for a guild" or that "Such and Such(SaS) a guild is recruiting" is time consuming and hurts the fingers to type over and over again. There should be a way for guilds and people seeking to join guild to find each other. I think that some sort of search system should be created but made as an in-game tool. This can be done by the guild or player being able to post their credentials so that people are able to search for them. Since the game probably is already keeping track of certain stats that can be considered as credentials, such as /age (hours played), /faction, /rank and things like that it can automatically update the information daily as the player reaches new achievements. The option to use the Guild Search system should be if a player decides that they would like to search for a guild, or be searched for by a guild. They can go to the Guild Search area, which could be set up somewhat like an auction house, and sign up to be on the search list for a guild. Guilds can also do the same thing when searching for a player. I think that this will be useful because it helps to ease some of the time consumed searching for a good match for you or your team and since it is the game that is providing the info you can be more confident in the legitimacy of what is being advertised. This may also be able to lead to other things such as a player ratings option which shows ratings by people that have played with or against a person, so you can get an idea of the person's personality you are trying to recruit.
