Map Filtering: The the volume of markers on the Map being able alter the visibility of markers could help clean up the map when exploring. My suggestion would be to add a UI to the Map that will permit players to make visible or invisible map markers including discovered and undiscovered locations. This would have several benefits to the map through decluttering the map be letting players find unexplored markers such as POI. To add to that, make found location searchable such as Waypoints.
