Feedback:User/Cursed Angel/Craftable Consumables

I'd like to see a different crafting system in gw2 for common consumeables like food, drinks and potions/herbs.

  • Mainly I'm suggesting that you should be able to craft basic/common consumeables yourself and making consumeables more common. Example; a group of ascalonian fishermen are sitting around a campfire, when you walk up to them they ask you to kill skales, collect their fins and return. When you do so, they reward you with a bowl of skalefin soup. You can also get empty bowls from an army supply.
  • This would be better done if there's a way to salvage certain items from monsters. For example making it possible to cut the fins of dead skales instead of having like 1 out of 10 skales drop them (it makes much more sense). At the same time increasing the amount of items required for a soup.
  • Then introducing potions and herbs. Example; Red iris flowers cure poison, Nong berries heal for 20 health, Pahnai Salad increase health by 20 and Shrooms that makes you invisible etc... Then you can mix them (to save inventory space and add the effects) and hotkey the consumable for easier use than opening your inventory to click on it.


At least; less overpriced consumeables that turns elite-areas into grinding spots. Thanks!
