Feedback:User/Deafblindmute/Kormir: Evolution of a God

I know a bunch of people don't particularly like Kormir, but I'm a fan and I'd definitely like to see how she has grown and changed in the 200 some years of being a god since Guild Wars 1. The shorter point of this is that Kormir was still very human at the end of Guild Wars Nightfall and I think it only seems right that she would change drastically as she became more tied into her role as a god. Beyond that I thought I might humbly offer some of my own thoughts on how Kormir and Abbadon might be deconstructed to form the Goddess of Truth. Plenty of lore and character establishment has probably already been created for Kormir. I just offer my thoughts on the chance that they might contain something useful to how the fantastic Guild Wars approaches this character.

Secrets vs. Truth

In Guild Wars 1, Kormir definitely comes off as a "good god" and it makes perfect sense for who she was as a human (not to mention the fact that she is juxtaposed against Abbadon). But the evil that Abbadon became points to the darker side of knowledge that Kormir would be faced with. Truth is really neither good nor evil and so it seems as if Kormir should take on that inherent neutrality. I picture her as a god who is both cold and nurturing because she reveals truth, as dark and unpleasant as it can be, but she still remembers how fragile and pained mortal life was and a part of her bears sympathy for that (though it may be distant and tucked away).

Visual Style: Subjective Eyes and Tentacles vs. Objective Blindness and Wings (or maybe fins)

I can't think of Abbadon and Kormir's appearances without thinking about his mask and her blindfold. It seems like the two should be melded, so perhaps Kormir would now be wearing Abbadon's mask (or a mask similar to it) but now it completely covers the eyes. This would point to both a darkening of Kormir as she is faced with the dark truths of the world but it also maintains her separation and difference from Abbadon.

The other big visual themes were Abbadon's tentacles, popping out of the back of his head and pretty much everywhere in the Realm of Torment, and Kormir's wings, covering her armor and helm. I thought it might be cool (and fit with Abbadon as the god of water) for Kormir's wings to become something like dolphin's flippers or fins. That way she maintains a shape reminiscent of her wings but is still easily differentiated from Dwayna.

My current imagination of what Kormir would look like would have her wearing a version of Abbadon's mask that completely covers her eyes. Half of her body would be covered in a cloak made up of overlapping flipper/fins/wings. She might also have a couple flippers coming from the back of her head in a fashion reminiscent of both her human armor and Abbadon's tentacles. Lastly, on the side of her body not covered by the cloak of flippers she would have two arms, each offering up a different item (one more positive, the other more negative). When I say two arms I mean in a Hindu god style (so two right arms or two left arms).

I am sure that whatever the team comes up with will be amazing. I just thought that I might try to offer up a little something of my own.
