To Whom it may concern,

ArenaNet Devs, I would like to make a suggestion about some possible content addition to your most anticipated title, GuildWars 2. Now this suggestion goes along the lines similar to your design of the underwater environments, which must have been a painstaking development process, but I think you might consider this to be a good idea that you might wish to implement at some later date. If you were to take your idea of, in a sense, redesigning the style and functionality of underwater enviroments/combat and apply it to the sky there may be room for some interesting content. Now, it is a known fact that ArenaNet works hard to bring original and revolutionary changes to the MMORPG genre, so I inquire of you as to whether you are interested in radically improving the idea of Sky environments. For example, picture floating hunks of rock in the sky, similar to the design of Rata Sum, which I assume floats, but adding an earthy/heavenly-esque twist to the idea. In this letter will refer to these floating masses of magically imbued earth as Sundered Shards. If the Sundered Shards were to be implemented as an environment, it would certainly open up a whole new mess of developing puzzles, but also great potential for more revolution. First of all you might think back to the idea of flight mounts would ruin sense of scale and i completely agree, I want to be clear that I am not suggesting flying mounts, merely an environment. Secondly, these Sundered Shards can add more depth to lore and open the way to some possible new npcs, mobs, or even playable races. Thirdly before I begin the next category of my suggestion, I should like to extrapolate upon the ways that these Sundered Shards would be accesible via travel. Asura Gates are definitely a way, but I have a more...complex I should say solution. Travel shouldn't be a hassel, but no one said it had to be easy. Especially travel by air, now note that player owned flying mounts are not my suggestion, but rather mounts on, more or less, rails to which they can travel, conviently limiting the amount of scale exposure the player might normally face if allowed free access to the sky. Make a game out of it in essence. Instead of having a certain nailed down track add optional tracks to travel by and have some feature or mechanic that allows players to skillfully handel whatever vehicle/mount they may be implementing in order to safely arrive at their destination, in this case limited to the Sundered Shards. I appreciate the evaluation of this suggestion and I do wish it can help with ArenaNets exploits in the game development industry.
