I thought it would be cool if you could customise the appearence of the ranger starting pet at the character creation screen. just minor cosmetic changes like scars and fur patterns - you could have a mostly black panther with a white foot and you could call him whitefoot! :D or you could have one with a scar over it's eye and call him.. james! that reminds me you could choose their gender too (not so important, as the pets name will pretty much define their gender anyway, and i can't imagine it would change their outward appearance much except maybe in terms of size)
despite the fact that you could obviously only customise your starter pet, it would be cool if wild animals have random minor cosmetic differences between them too (maybe they already do, i don't know) so you could set out to tame one you think looks particularly cool (again don't know how taming works either so this might not be applicable) Ealias 04:45, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
