I know it sounds complex but would you consideer Anet to make gw2 have time changes? I dont know if you guys are familiar, but there is a game I favor a lot and that is Red Dead Redemption. In RDR, as you move and do stuff, the sun sets and rises, giving a night and day aspect. But knowing that there are a lot or European player and a lot of North American Players (specifically US and Canada), this day and night aspect may be a little difficult to make possible.
[edit]
Problems: Anet will favor Europe's side and have the "World Clock" be on schedule with Central Europe, so that might mean US and Canada will be experiancing more of a night-time environment. Vise-Versa for US and Canada
Solution: Have different districts (Like those in GW1). The european district will favor the time of central Europe, and the North American Disrict will favor the time of central North America
Players will be able to switch districts whenever they like, how many times they like and how often they like.

Why should there be a day and night aspect?
Simple! (Night Time) Say there is a gang slowly uprising in Divinity's Reach. during the night, they wonder around in a semi-large crowd, wearing matching clothing. They walk into a bar, telling all the people to get out because its "their personal time" peoplee laugh and refuse, and then one of the gang mates pulls out a sword/gun/vicious threatening weapon and threatens the residents, a few walk out calmly and carefully and others scream and shout "Ahh! Were being attacked!" or something that signifies a person is afraid and frightened. A Stranger comes up to you and begs you to help them, you "Decline", "Accept", or "Walk away". This can affect your "honor or fame" whatever its called. Then you (hypothetically) Accept, and take on the challenge. You win and the gang is no more. You don't see them on the street, and people treat you to a free beer whenever you walk in THAT bar.
(Day Time) Oh comon, Anet has givin alot of day time scenes so I'll let the professionals handle things.
Certain enemies and monsters will be out during the day or night. For example: a pack of wolves at night, or a herd of Centaur in the day.
Thanks all! :)
