Summary[edit]

Add nasty environmental effects to Hard mode, in general or for specific dungeons and elite zones.

Hard Mode should be harder[edit]

Speed Clearing zones and missions is due to the fact HM is too easy. Reactive and punishment skills with high leverage make it even easier and faster than easy mode : VoR, SS, Sliver armor, Retribution, Holy wrath...

Kind of environmental effects[edit]

They should be random so players would need to rely on teammates, thus reducing viability of splitting or soloing a whole dungeon. That could include :

  • Random All enchantment removal from one party member
  • Random Limited degen like -10 degen for 10 seconds on one party member
  • Random knock-down on one party member
  • Random Consummable effect removal on one party member

Occurrences[edit]

  • Can be a permanent effect on all HM zones/mission/mission with periodical events
  • Can be events/effects happening at deaths of mobs thus adding pressure proportionately to how fast foes are killed.
