Currently, it appears that you can't put items from your inventory directly onto items in the guild bank for purposes of stacking them. You have to take them out into the inventory, stack them, and then put them back in. You should be able to directly stack from your inventory without going through the extra steps. --Elunah [GS] ~ Ferguson's Crossing 07:22, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
