Feedback:User/Fanmad/Crafting as mini-game

I have just read the crafting system in GW2 on the website and i had an "old fashioned deja-vu" feeling. GW2 is supposed to add a new feel to the MMO genre but as regarding crafting, its not doing so from what I have read. To resume, for crafting you need to get some materials and you go to a craftsman and open an interface and "click" ..."boom" the item is created. In my opinion this is too much similar to every MMO out there. Whats the difference between GW2 and all the others? None. GW2 even put the "recipes" as all the other games. I suppose even the interface looks a lot like in every MMO. What would you guys say, if crafting an item will actually feel like crafting? So, instead of filling up the interface with materials and than click the craft button, I suggest that after hitting the craft button it will start a mini-game that actually will be played by the player giving him the feeling he is working for that thing he is crafting and even giving him a feeling he might fail it. A type pf mini-game for crafting will be this: in upper window the craftsman will ask some material in a timed based cycle and the player should click that specific material. Of course they only give 1 piece at a time. In this way if an item need 10 Item A + 3 Item B + 6 Item C to be crafted, the NPC can ask like this: Give me A, than B than A than A than C....etc. In this way the player will be able to "do something"for crafting. For Tailoring the mini-game can be like a sequential patter of arrow keys needed to be pressed by the player, being similar to using a needle. I hope you guys understand my idea. Crafting in GW2 needs to be different than other MMOs Thank you and hopefully it will be different
