Feedback:User/Frakeer/No Flying! But Wait...

I 100% agree that flying around the world ruins the game. Also, Flying around Lions Arch, Divinity's Reach and the Citidel would really diminish the exploring experience of these intricatly interwoven streets, tunnels, passages and catwalks.

However...

Due to the vast, but relatively uninteresting layout of Hoelbrak (not the buildings or sculptures) and how difficult it is to take in the grand scale of the game art with such a limited camera zoom, There could be a Shaman somewhere in town that could grant players the power of flight within that city. The other three cities have exploration points that flying would ruin. This city doesn't. Flying would allow better views of buildings and sculptures that are just too big to stand infront of and look at. And being as this race worships animal totems, the whole idea of being granted an "astral" like ability wouldn't feel out of place.

Personally I would love to be able to fly but I know I would over-use this ability in PVE areas and quickly get bored. Plus, swimming satisfys my need for a 3D environment challenges anyway.

Flying in Hoelbrak would not break anything there, allow a better perspective on all the grand sized art and would compliment the beliefs of the Norn people...
