A spirit is an ethereal being that can be summoned by rangers through special utility skills. They provide a variety of effects, depending on the type of spirit summoned.

Spirits

Ranger-tango-icon-20.png Ranger Spirits Suggestion[edit]

  • Grant mobility to spirits, removing the need to trait into Spirits Unbound. A spirits lack of mobility restricts the player to the spirit;therefore, having to wait for the recharge in between battles or to not summon them during battle.
  • "Another important part of Guild Wars 2 combat is mobility."[1]— Jon Peters
  • Spirits will act as a signet by granting passive abilities while summoned and can be commanded for a greater effect. After a spirit is activated, the spirit will disappear making the player lose the passive effect until the spirit is re-summoned.
