There are currently two problems with casting times.
A)Fast casting can be abused to make some skills virtually uninterruptable.
B)fast casting is not very effective at reducing very high casting times making some mesmer skills useless.
So here's the suggestion. Fast Casting should, instead of reducing cast time by 5% compounding, reduce casting time by a flat 5% per rank, with the caveat that casting times cannot be reduced below 1 by fast casting alone. This fixes the fast casting water eles and blood necs that have uninterruptable, and at the same time allows dom mesmers to not have to constantly cancel cast skills like diversion. This is not a huge change for mesmers mind you, as 10 fast casting currently is 63% activation, while this would make it 50%
