Problem: RA is not random.

Solution: Make it random.

Narrative:

You don’t need to be a physicist to see the colors of the rainbow, and you don’t need statistics to know that RA is not random. The algorithms have a propensity to lump monks together, and give high-glad non-monks no monks in their teams. I feel that this message is late (I should have contacted you when Star Craft 2 came out) but you still have time before you completely kill off your skilled players before GW2 comes. Fix your algorithms.

I am a liberal and I believe in taxing the heck out of the rich, but I’m feeling the impact that it has on the rich; if you tax them too hard, they will leave. It is my experience that if you have three skilled RA players on your team, even if the other guy isn’t skilled, that you are able to pull out a 25 win. It is when, however, the skilled players begin to leave the game because they are getting three monk or no monk teams that they may leave the GW franchise all together.

Whether the algorithm was deliberately programmed as such or it is just glitchy, take a look at it. I am 95% convinced that it is not random and it is destroying players’ interest in RA and GW at large.

On a personal note, I was one of RA’s best monks. How do I know? In the course of a year, I had gone 25 with only two other monks. Myself, however, have gone 25 countless number of times (I began taking screens because a guy heckled me for not having Guardian; I was planning to email them to him.) I now play SC2, and I’m not sure if I’m coming back to GW. I don’t like getting three-or-no-monk teams especially when I am a RA junkie, and I may take it personally by not buying GW2. I suspect that there are other skilled players who feel like me because, of all places, I heard about SC2 in RA’s public chat.
