Learning about the ranger camouflage ability made me think of the uses it had, standing still until the trap you set is sprung I supposed. But this is rather limited, especially when compared with the capabilities of the Thief or Mesmer.

Currently:

Disappear with your pet, unless you move or attack. Cannot be used in combat. Can be traited as a ranger as Hide in Plain Sight.

This is how I'd like the ability to function for the Ranger class:

Outside of combat, Cloak yourself (and pet) with your surroundings, unless you move faster than a walk or attack.

It could further be limited by:

1) Directly approaching from the side or rear - within earshot of intended victim a twig snaps. If said victim isn't paying attention proceed until within leaping range of your melee weapon, uncloak and unleash your wrath. Should probably have a success/failure rate attached to it, I'd say 15% chance of remaining cloaked until in leaping range. Another twig snaps rather loudly and uncloaks you upon failure (chalk it up to loss of confidence or enemy awareness).

2) Flanking - while weilding a bow keep within the blind spot and outside of earshot of your target (no more than 90 degrees)(from back to side)), attack (uncloaking).

I would like the ranger class to have more mobility with cloaking and being able to sneak up on your prey isn't just for thieves ;)

Thoughts?
