I had some trouble finding Dynamic Events in Queensdale. I am aware that I need to modify my gaming style and stick around to see if anything interesting crops up but there were a few times I felt that I missed out simply by turning left instead of right. I was thinking of a way for a disoriented player to get world news if they miss the NPC running around trying to get players to help them out, (or if players just logged in and are looking to see what's up). I thought that if Scouts had a means of keeping track of current events that they could be the ones players turn to if they miss the town crier. Is it possible Scouts can relay information of current Dynamic activity? I honestly only talked to one once as I didn't think he'd have any other information for me. If they do please kindly disregard this post.
Perhaps there can be mobile scouts (in addition to the townies) moving from town to town making nearby travellers informed if the road ahead is clear or frought with danger. Scouts can take the main road and townies can take the fields/woods and roads less travelled. The only other thing I could think to add is a trouble maker (friendly or not) that leads us into danger. Seperate from the Dynamic Event chain but triggered by it. Like a kid throwing a cow pie at the Hero of Shaemor to make their rep or tarnish ours w/e, but we'd actually have to want to chase them down (presumably with a cow pie in hand) in order to run into an event half way.
The only NPC I remember coming up to me and asking for help was a Quaggan in a Tengu village in Kessex Hills. He stood out because he was a Quaggan in a Tengu village and that it was the first time I was approached by an NPC, I don't remember talking to any humans in Queensdale. I'm going to roll another human next BWE to check out what I can do to experience all the DE chains available and perhaps flesh this idea out better, but I wanted to throw it out there anyway.
