Since Guild Wars 2s development seems to have a lengthy development cycle, I suggest Anet release a open demo product for the rest of the world to test. The legions of followers seem to deserve a taste of whats to come. I'm sure many have been very patient as they wait for the final release. A very limited content demo is better than none. It would be better than just having videos of demos, for those who could not attend the demo venues. It would also help satiate their longing wait to get a hands on feel of GW2. A open demo could help add momentum to increase support to guild wars 2s development and attract new players, increasing user base once the game is release. The demo could be totally non representative of the released game but still serve as a hands on preview of the world or part of the type of gameplay that can found. Limited servers would suffice too. And who better to get reviews and comments than the players themselves. The demo could include a short play through and limited pvp. Players can play this demo and continue to be GW fans until the game is out. Perhaps update demos to showcase new additions to the game could be released prior to "when it's done". The public demands it. I'm almost ready to burn something down waiting for it to go gold. LOL.
