GW2 should focus on other aspects of the game that a player can do besides fight non-friendlies.

The hot key set of actions should be comprised of more than just combat skills. There should be sets of hot keys available to the player to perform other actions besides combat related skills. For example, a emote set should be accessible so as any time a player wishes to perform an emote it can easily be achieved by the player. A player just needs to switch to that hot key set, look at what actions are available then click on the icon or press any of the number of hot-keys. Let's dispose of combat actions for a second and look at what other game play options are available or can be possible. 1. Emotes. 2. Environmental interactions. 2A. Climbing up a wall, mountain side, tree or rock. 2A1. Apply climbing gear (footwear, rope, climbing axe...) (these actions could be obstacles to reach other items in the game or tactical interactions to do things like evade attacks). 3. Play a musical instrument (each key can be note or short tune etc). 4. Choose a theme song to play. 5. record the session being played and play it back in a mini in game player. 6. In pvp target a hot keyed target..or in pve too... 7. Interact with friendly npcs 7a. Pet an animal. 7b. Request help from a or all near town npc. 7b2. Persuade a town npc. 8. Spammable hot-key trading. 9. Use non-profession or race related skills like kicking, bashing, holding, carrying, blocking.

A in-game guild forum would definitely help with guild communications (it's very useful in a browser game called 7 Dragons though somewhat of a limited capabilities forum is available in it).
