Feedback:User/Irgendwer/Eliminate Factions merchant discrimination

NPCs in Echovald Forest and Jade Sea outposts refuse to deal with players depending on their current alignment. While this makes some sense from a role-playing perspective, in terms of gameplay it's a complete waste of time because no one is going to redeem faction just to buy services in a particular town. They're just going to map to a different town and grumble silently about the few lost seconds. Also, I seriously doubt anyone has enough Kurzick/Luxon pride to care much about the role-playing point I mentioned. In other words, this discrimination is utterly irrelevant if you are aligned with the right faction and a minor nuisance if you're not, and the chance of being aligned with the wrong faction is high enough to be replaced with a coin toss for people who regularly farm both factions.

To use a relevant analogy, the Wisdom title track used to be character-based. It was changed, presumably because transferring items to a character with a high Wisdom tier before salvaging components from them would have been an unjustifiable waste of time. I consider merchant discrimination to be similarly pointless and suggest that it be removed.
