Please make the chat system just a little less bad. Even a little. I make more typos on GW than anywhere else, partly because the chat system is so slow (really, it has a horrible reaction time) and partly because it's such a pain to correct them. Make it a little faster, a little longer, automatically linkify URLs so we don't have to use templates (or at least make it possible to copy text other people have said), and if you really want to make my day, put a few word kill commands in there. C-k deletes to the front of the line, C-u deletes backward, C-z undoes. Italics and shit would be nice if it's easy to set your cursor to insert them, probably with C-i/C-b/C-u/etc., but I don't really care.
