  I think that a cool alternative to personal housing in game would be to allow guild members to have a personal room in their guild hall. This would add to the idea of a guild dynamic allowing multiple players to live together in the same area, these rooms would be decorated by the people who lived in them. Instead of buying a house like in other games, they would just help pay upkeep for the guild hall. Also, the rooms should come with adjustable permissions for the tenant, such as allowing others to come in or not, that way so other guild members could meet each other in their respective rooms. These rooms could also be bought by a tenant as add-ons to the guild hall. This idea of housing would be different from many other MMO games and add a little more creative flavor to the game.
