Simply put, it is awkward to see a ranger reaching behind his back for an arrow when there is nothing there to grab, or grab from. Yet suddenly, he/she has acquired an arrow! There would not be a problem with this if it was at least explained through lore somehow, but it is not. A quiver on the back would be ideal, but obviously this can cause issues with capes. Capes are important to players because they represent your guild. Capes should not be squandered for the sake of quivers, but they can be altered if necessary. I suggest that whenever a bow is equipped, a quiver is placed on the back of the character and the cape changes from the standard two-shoulder model to a one-shoulder "scarf-like" model. Imagine a cape that is longer and half the width of a normal cape, that is pinned on one shoulder, wrapped around the neck, and draped over the back of that same shoulder. This leaves room for a quiver on the other half of the back. If not that, then maybe quivers can be attached to the hip, although this would require an animation change and is not very feasible at this point. As a ranger, I am kindly requesting that quivers be introduced in Guild Wars 2 because I feel like the current model of ranger animation is sloppy without them. I want this game to seem real in as many aspects as possible and I feel as though this one is going to constantly bother me, as it does in Guild Wars. If quivers cannot be introduced, please at least provide some sort of lore explanation as to why they are not necessary.
