Since It is already known that map jumping was removed and replace by the portal system, I would still like a fast way to travel to and from Portals.
COMBAT MOUNTS:[edit]
I explained the Combat Mounts in my Suggestion on Guild System. But I will explain that again. Combat Mounts look like normal mounts, but they function like a Siege Vehicle. as they have their Own Unique Abillities and disable (ALL OR MOST) of the Player's own Class Spells and Ablities.
Flying Mounts:[edit]
Flying mounts are ether Flying Siege vehicles mounts, or Hovering Mounts, as in they hover just slightly above the ground as if they fly. Since we cant fly in GW2, this could still give cool Flying Animations for winged Mounts
Horses - Basic mount for humans in MMORPGs
Unicorn - Similar to Horses, but more Magical, and could maybe have a graphical color mist trail the mount.
Worg - Evil looking wolf mount
Pegasus- Winged Mount, but still Grounded.
Sea Snake- Water Mount
Drake - Hovering Dragon mount. Still Grounded though.
Shadow Hunter Bat- Hovering Mounts of Death. Flying Siege Mount or Ground mount that hovers.
Dire Bear- Armored Bear mounts
Fire Beetle-
Chimera- Flying Siege mount. Could have large damaging ranged attacks
Carrion Crawler- another Worm like mount idea.
Chuul - Sea lobster type underwater mount.
Crocodile- basic Water mount
Vrock- Flying Demon Siege Mount
Grick- Worm Mount
Raptor -
Succubus - Who wouldnt want to ride one of these (Wink wink)
Dracolich - Flying Dragons Siege mount of the Undead
Wind Elemental - Flying mount Siege or something
Gorgon - Armored Bull looking mount with Breath attack
Wyvern- Air Siege Mount. Part Dragon part Scorpion.
Griffon- hovering mount. Part bird part Lion
Hydra- Water Mount
Kruthik- Bug oriented mount
Magma Stinger - Lava fire Scorpion mount that does AoE fire damage to near by enemies.
Nightmare- Fire Horse Mount
Panther-
Owlbear- part Owl part Bear. hybrid ground and Air siege mount
Thunderhawk - Flying Siege mount that send down lighting bolts
Hellstinger Scorpion- Elite Scorpion mount of evil
Sphinx- Flying siege Lion Mount or Hovering ground Mount
Spider- Mount that can crawl over Siege walls but very slow
