Feedback:User/Kohan/Improved Trading Broadcasting

The current trade broadcast system works through the party-search interface. This is useful, but can be a little difficult to fit everything you want to sell or buy into some 40 or 50 characters. I understand that this is to keep things clean and tidy, so I propose an improved trading broadcast system.

In this system, trade broadcasting would have its own interface, instead of being part of the party search interface. You would browse through your inventory (for selling) or a catalog of items (for buying) and select the items that you are interested in buying or selling. This way, the system can automatically tell if one person is interested in buying what someone else is selling (I have seen "WTB blah" and "WTS the-same-blah" at the same time on many occasions). If the system detects a match, it will notify the buyer and seller so that they can negotiate things. You may specify a minimum or maximum price for an item so that you are not notified if a price is outside what you are willing to pay/be paid.

If you are interested in entire categories of items, such as "trophies," "dyes," or "purple-name swords," then you could select such categories instead of specific items.

This would not automate the trading process itself, but it would better facilitate the linking of salesmen and consumers so that their business may be conducted more efficiently.
