Optional Character Profile page and optional Player Profile page.
=== Details. Character Profile. ===
I propose a profile page for the Player Character (PC).
This profile page would consist of the player character name, a text area, and a place for a single picture.
The player would have the option to write something about their character if they wish too. It is purely optional for the player, but would add more role playing option to the player.
In addition, the player can upload a picture, such as a screen shot, of their character. This too is optional.
One player would have to actively choose to view the profile of another Player Character. This can be done by selecting the other Player Character and choosing to view profile. The profile of other player character should not be automatically shown as this would produce too much lag.

=== Limitation on Image Resolution. ===
The uploaded file would be a jpeg file, with a maximum resolution of 150x150 resolution. The size constraint is to help reduce lag, as larger resolution results in more bandwidth needed to view the picture. If the player uploads a picture larger than 150x150, the image is automatically resize to 150x150.

Like the optional Character Profile, there would be another page for the player to put up a Player Profile. Again this is purely optional.
Like the Character Profile, it would consist an optional text area, and an optional photo area.
The image resolution size would apply here as well to help reduce lag.
Again, like the Character Profile, for the Player Profile, one player would have to actively choose to view the profile of another Player. This can be done by selecting the other Player Character and choosing to view profile, and selecting the Player Profile page or tab. The profile of other player should not be automatically shown as this would produce too much lag.
=== Privacy concern. ===
The Player Profile is purely optional and should be purely optional. Any player wishing privacy does not have to upload any photo or enter any info.
I would strongly advice against any player (any user) from putting any personal info such as their real name or address.
This option is purely for fun. Its is sometime nice to get an idea who you are playing with. Players can use this to put up some fun tidbits about themselves that they do not mind sharing with the guild war community but they should not put up any personal detail or their real identity.
