In Guild Wars 2, Player Character (PC) will have their own personal story arc. The story arc should include the possibility to have a love story, should the player choose to go down that path.
Here is how it might happen. The Player Character (PC) may have a possible None Playing Character (NPC) love interest. This would come about if the player makes certain decisions. The PC and the potential NPC love interest may starts out as allies, or even a rival or enemy, and depending of the choices made, become friends, and eventually develop a love relationship.
There would be many possible NPC love interests, and its possible for the PC to develop a relationship with one or more of them. A love triangle story arc can even happen. There are many creative story options available here for the game writer to play with.
I'll leave the decision to the game designers as to whether or not there will be the possibility of alternate relationship story arc, such as bi females.
