So, i'd like to suggest a change of the duplicate skills. For example: Symbol of Wrath/ Kirin's Wrath, Sundering Attack/Penetrating Attack etc.
I know what their intentional use was, giving players who only had Factions upon it's release the opportunity of using some more usefull skills from Prophecies. But let's face it, even with only Factions or Prophecies as your campaing most of them aren't even worth a look.
So...as an example:
Symbol of Wrath Current Functionality 5 E/2 A/30 R Spell. For 5 seconds, foes adjacent to the location in which the spell was cast take (8...27...32) holy damage each second.
Suggestion
10 E/1 A/20 R Wardspell. For (4..7..10) Seconds partymembers in this ward cause (5..14..20) holy damage at foes attacking with physical damage.
This way it wouldn't be too far away from the current functionality but give some new oppurtunities to smiting builds without getting to imbalanced.

Suggestion This one gave me some trouble thinking of something new. As far as i know a Kirin is a quite peaceful creature in mythology, so the wrath of something like a kirin should be something with a bang. I thought about a monk-version of Ancestor's Rage.
5e/1/2 A/15 R Skill. For 2 seconds, nothing happens. When this skill ends, all foes adjanced to target ally take (5..41..50) holy damage, attacking foes take (12..20..25) additional holy damage. Cannot selftarget
Penetrating Attack/Sundering Attack
I don't think both here would need a change, but at least one of them could be changed to a skill applying cracked armor.
Penetrating Blow/Penetrating Attack Same as above. Both classes could need something to apply cracked armor, especially since at least the two ranger attacks where nerfed to counter abuse.
Shadow Strike/Lifebane Strike
Here again one of the two could stay as it is, let's take the Factions skill as example for the rework.
Lifebane Strike
Current Functionality 10 E/2 A/8 R Spell. Target foe takes (12...41...48) shadow damage. If that foe's Health is above 50%, you steal up to (12...41...48) Health.
Suggestion This, like Kirin's Wrath, gave me some trouble thinking, remember that this is just a suggestion. I just thought that, if this spell is ruining life it could have a negative effect on both while still dealing a good amount of damage that is not too high for a non-elite.
10 E/2 A/10R Hexspell. 10 Seconds: Target foe has -(1..3..3) health degeneration, if target foe is healed while under this hex it ends and you lose 50 health. Initial effect: Target foe takes (15..63..75) shadow damage.
So....that's what i thought about so far. Please remember these are just examples but i think it is really necessary to give the duplicate skills a change. Well, i better prepare for some devastating critic.
