We all know Kodan will be a race in Guild Wars 2, but they mysteriously show up because of the rise of a dragon? To me, that seems like a gap in lore. I suggest simply adding a Kodan scout party and maybe two quests that deal with them. No new outposts, just a scout party that is exploring Gadd's Encampment and maybe Droks. The quests would look something like:

• Talk to Orrggos of the Kodan Scout Party.

Orrggos wants me to secure a safe passage to an Asuran Gate.

I have secured the Asuran Gate (after killing a couple bosses).

• Speak to Veldus of the Kodan Scout Party in Eye of the North.
