Issue[edit]
The current trade chanel is a mess, right now it is just a WoT where you have to scroll up and down to try to search for what you are interested in. In the party window, the bottom trade section isn't very organized either... The solution I am presenting isn't ideal way but a least I think it can be implemented quickly and without too much work and also can make trader's life a bit easier.
Solution[edit]
- Chanels
Create 2 or 3 chanels for trade to divide the current WoT, these chanels could have different colors:
- WTS chanel: people who are willing to sell something would use this one and people looking for something to buy would only enable this chanel.
- WTB chanel: same here people would only enable this chanel according what they intend.
- WTT(optional)
Of course like today when you type WTB/WTS in the main chanel your message would be redirected to the right one.
- Party search panel
In the party window there could be 2/3 sub divisions in the trade section:
- WTS if player typed WTS blabla...
- WTB if player typed WTB blabla...
- WTT
The main aim of all this is not to make a perfect marketing system, but organize a bit more what we have without too much investment from the Devs (we all know they are busy enough with GW2 ^_^)
