Final Notes[edit]

As a rule, players aren't going to spend their elite to cause cripple in PvE. PvP players want to spread cripple prolifically, which typically means with ranged attack skills. The new functionality gives a reason (and an elite) to tinker with a PbAoE in PvE, and an incentive to use Grenth's Grasp as a melee-er in PvP. The damage might promote excessive spikes in PvP, though. Onslaught (PvE) offers bar compression and support for PvE-only skills, while Onslaught (PvP) might appeal to Dervish bombers. The extra reduction effects probably won't matter in high-end PvP, since most Dervish spells were gutted before Nightfall's official release.
